Our Vision

Say no to corporate slogans

Lots of companies have a catchy slogan, or even better, a mission statement usually with a photo of an eagle soaring over a snowcapped mountain. We thought, let’s have one for tankcoffee so people know we mean business. So everyone at tankcoffee had to put into words, what they believe is our vision.

They were anything but catchy, some weren’t even short. But they’re all pretty much from the heart and that’s what matters.

Here they are in all their glory:

  • "To supply our customers with a great product at a fair price, with an aim to generate awareness and encourage economic growth."

  • "Offering coffee growers a route out of poverty through receiving a fair return for a job well done from consumers who know who they are."

  • "Great tasting coffee sold straight to the door. A fair wage for everyone involved in the business; farmer, exporter, importer, roaster and postman. Educate customers with an emphasis on good relationships within the supply chain using websites, face-to-face visits and coffee evenings."

  • "We believe that all people we have dealings with should be treated fairly and equally,
  • with respect, care and good humour. We should strive to seek the good and the positive
  • in our partners, in our business, ourselves and our products."

  • "To transform a cracking cup of coffee into a relationship and get the people
  • who drink it on first-name terms with the people who grow it."

  • "To be disciples to the individual, their communities and nations,
  • with fair and transparent trading, christian love and encouragement."

Not quite in a nutshell, but that’s what we hope to achieve with tankcoffee. All this means you can enjoy our coffee knowing that all along the line, everyone involved has been treated fairly and no-one has taken more than their fair share.
